The Very Polish Cut-Outs Label - for over 14 years, tirelessly and successfully run by Zambon, has been extracting and promoting musical gems unearthed from the vast archives of Polish popular music. He does this mostly by giving them a new context, employing studio manipulations in the form of edits and remixes. In this way, he also adapts them to the needs of contemporary DJ sets and preferences of the modern listener.
The label, which started from purely DJ motivations to release edits of forgotten or less well-known Polish songs, has evolved over the past few years into a full-scale record company that has contributed to the growing interest in Polish music in Poland and abroad. It is worth mentioning albums such as the archival album "Dotyk" ("Touch") by Renata Lewandowska, released by The Very Polish Cut-Outs in 2020, the compilation "Echo wielkiej płyty" ("Echoes of the concrete slabs") containing previously unreleased Polish electronic music compositions from the 1980s, as well as the enthusiastically received albums by the artist known under the pseudonym Pejzaż. Over its 13-plus years of activity, the label has also promoted many new talented national producers and DJs, such as the aforementioned Pejzaż, the Holiday80 duo, Karol Aleksander, DJ Duch, Bisti, Dyyune, Old Spice or the now-defunct duo Ptaki.
The DJ sets played by Zambon and associated DJs and producers under The Very Polish Cut-Outs banner feature a large, eclectic selection of Polish and Eastern European music. This music consists of dusted-off original recordings from past decades, various edits and remixes from the vast catalogue of the label (and beyond), and contemporary disco and house dance music produced by Polish creators. This long-polished musical formula has resulted in the label's sets and showcases becoming highly original and unique events on the Polish club scene.
